Hello!
I plan to visit Carlisle in April. What is the best public transportation from Washington DC to Carlisle? Train or bus?
I have found a Greyhound Line from DC to Harrisburg. Is there a local bus from Harrisburg to Carlisle or do I have to take a taxi? Looking forward to se your town!

Public transportation is not too great around here... but from the train/bus station in Harrisburg, you should be able to pick up the CatTransit buses that serve the region. Go here: CatTransit Bus Schedules for the bus schedule and I think that schedule C, CI or CX 'may' work for you. But I do not know this for sure.

I think you can get a train from DC to Harrisburg too - instead of a bus... it may be nicer (but probably more expensive)
